WELCOME TO INTEGRATIVE DOCTORS MEDICAL ACCREDITATION (IIPA-IDMA)

Due to the Public Confusion Between Naturopathic Practitioners (Graduates of Seminars and Diploma programs), other Alternative practitioners and Integrative Naturopathic Doctors. IIPA has recognized the need for a Board-Certified Integrative Naturopathic Doctors & Physicians who completed Postgraduate Education from qualified and eligible institutions. IIPA is committed to develop a unified academic curriculum based on International and USA standards that will foster Excellence in Education among our educational providers; at the same time, shall embody theAcademy's ideals, philosophy, foundational principles, practice and standard of Integrative Naturopathic Education. IIPA Certification Board has established the Integrative Naturopathic Board Examination (INBEX/INDEX) and shall administer this qualifying examination for IND and INPs Registration with the Board. An official Registry of Integrative Naturopathic Doctors & Physicians will be published in this IIPA Website.

ALL BOARD CERTIFICATION TITLES WILL REFLECT THE DOCTORS EARNED DEGREE AND SPECIALIZATION.

Licensing

Licensing by definition is a mandatory requirement and is usually administered and controlled by State Government entities. In the USA, States that license Naturopaths are currently issued only to those that have graduated from a four year residential program. However , Most of the States are Still unregulated so that other Naturopathic Doctors can still practice their profession and has formed themselves into various associations have opposed them in several states. In the Philippines and other countries as Australia and New Zealand, Naturopathic Medicine is still an unregulated health profession.

Certification

Certification,on the other hand, is a voluntary professional commitment that is the most practical alternative. The International Integrative Physician Academy believes that it’s now the time to push one certification program for Integrative Naturopathic Medicine, the real problem: valid and legitimate academic education as an ND or NMD from qualified and eligible NHEIs. Certification is not new or unique. Many professions and para-professions have developed and supported certification as an alternative to licensing or other forms of regulation.
