Certification
The Rationale:
Today, we see a strong trend among many non-Postgraduate degree holders as herbalist, Alternative practitioners and so-called "healers, to introduce themselves as “Doctors” Likewise, there's an increasing number of health gurus claiming to be "PhD holders". Advertising their names with this highest academic title, but who did not educationally earned it the legit way (Honoris causa?unqualified schools?).Some adopt various fake academic doctorate titles, just to gain the impression of having multiple doctorates . New Alternative schools which just emerged in the scene, and suddenly announced that they are qualified to offer Postgraduate degrees are highly-questionable. Particularly, when this novice schools has not gained educational maturity by going through the educational stages. Holding a successful Bachelor's degree programs over the years (yearly Baccalaureate Graduations) as first step; and then later, advancing to Masters for additional years; before evolving to Doctoral program. "Separate the Grains from the Wheat" Thus, It is best that Doctors who graduated with legitimate Doctorate degrees from qualified Institutions should be BOARD-CERTIFIED.

IIPA: COMMITTED TO A UNIVERSITY-STANDARD, NATUROPATHIC HIGHER EDUCATION
IIPA Evaluates and Certifies Naturopathic Higher Education Institutions (NHEIs). Schools Offering Postgraduate Naturopathic Education.
- Minimum Requirements for PostGrad Program (Summary)
"IIPA Accredited Postgraduate Naturopathic Program" Level IIIEducational StagesThe School existence must be long enough to evolve from Bach- Master to Doctorate, not an instant school that appeared recently and offers doctorate. And once they have these Different degrees currently operational, IIPA encourages them to publish a video of their Annual/Yearly Graduations covering All the earned academic degrees .Academic QualificationThe Academic qualification of people behind the NHEIs must also possess earned academic qualification to administer Postgraduate programs.MUST HOLD DOCTORATES FROM ACCREDITED OR ELIGIBLE SCHOOLSFirst priority is given to Doctoral degree-holders from Govt Recognized Univ/Colleges. But Doctoral degrees from Qualified and Eligible NHEIs are also accepted. Since blog writers have reported of USA CAM schools offering Postgraduate from “fake doctors” (*NLE-Not legitimately earned) - Advance Requirements
IIPA Naturopathic Center for Excellence/Development (NCOE/NCOD)"IIPA advices all Progressive NCOE schools to employ a Highly-Qualified Govt Recognized-Educator/s (earned EdD or DEM) preferably, with a Health-Related Doctoral Degree. This legitimate Academician must occupy a major academic position in NHEIs to steer the school to an acceptable Academic standard of Graduate School, resulting in a respectable Doctoral studies.Different Tiers of Educational LeadershipHow can NHEIs manage a respectable, academic doctoral program when they are Underqualified for Higher Education Postgraduate Learning?Even among school administrators, Educators have different Tier levels: Some may qualify for Preschool learning or Basic Education; another group, for Undergraduate and Master's Education ; A few are qualified Leaders of Postgraduate program. Those Not Qualified to LeadBasic Education Educators/those with Master of Education are not qualified leaders for Postgraduate programs; they cannot sit in the Examination Panel. Disqualification: They themselves, did not undergo a real Doctoral Dissertation.
WHO ARE THE QUALIFIED PHYSICIANS YOU CAN CONSULT YOUR HEALTH PROBLEM?
What is the difference between a plain Alternative Practitioner and an Integrative Naturopathic (IM) Physician?
While there is a growing number of sincere herbal agents and traditional CAM practitioners, they can only go as far as Optimal health and "common/minor illnesses", which are most likely helped by boosting the immune system . A very beneficial service to Humanity. But they have Limitations.. And yet as the patient's/client's medical condition go up the critical point of the *Pyramid of Physicianship*, the practitioner's training and skill cannot adequately handle the disease in the serious and complicated CLINICAL-PATHOLOGICAL STAGE which needs specific drugs-specific botanical medicines, accurate differential diagnosis, progressive follow up of laboratory and Imaging tests, etc.
On the other hand, Those who have been Trained to Physicianship level- -Both the Integrative Naturopathic Physicians and Medical Doctors--are the Doctors for the Third Stage (3) . These doctors are trained how to narrow down on the real disease after DD or by investigating the underlying root causes of disease; making a preliminary and final diagnoses based on standard Clinical assessment, and while correlating the results/scores/findings of the Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging tests .
Likewise, with the same medical tests, they can also closely monitor the disease's pathological changes, the patient's clinical improvement, and the effectiveness of the (either drug or natural) therapies they administered . Therefore to Consult with A Qualified Healthcare Provider will depend on the different stages of the Pyramid of Physicianship.
