Candidates must hold appropriate doctorate-level education from qualified institutions.

Qualification,Rules & Policies of Board Certification
IIPA-IDMA Certification is Based on the Following Conditions:

  1. Valid Doctorate from Qualified Postgraduate Institutions.
    Academic Requirements of a Doctorate Degree.Potential Registrants without a Health-Related Doctoral Degree will not be accepted.
  2. INBEX/INDEX Passer
  3. Has Meet All Criteria for Certification

Certification Title

Certification Title confer to registrants upon registration are exclusive to the organization and help to identify your area of healthcare focus to the public.
  • Certification is a statement or declaration that one has completed a course of study, passed an examination, or otherwise met specified criteria for certification.
  • Certification is not permission to act, but rather a statement of completion or qualification.
  • Certification is a private matter, issued by a private organization.It does not involve the power of the state or province and is not a state or provincial privilege.
  • Certification is based on the premise that there is a right to work.
  • Certification provides the consumer with more information about a practitioner.It also gives practitioners a way to increase their competency through a course of study and exams, and to advertise or inform others of their completion of this course of study.
  • The purpose of certification is mainly to set standards, educate practitioners and inform the public.
IIPA-IDMA is not a licensing organizations but certificating organization which uphold International Educational Standards for Integrative Naturopathic Medicine
Non-Regulated Professions are Represented by Certifying Boards
Non-regulated professions are not registered under the government established regulatory bodies but are instead must be represented by certifying boards or professional association that upholds standards. Certification under a certifying organization provides the consumer with more information about a practitioner. It also gives practitioners a way to increase their competency through a course of study and exams and professional development and to advertise or inform others of their competencies.
Potential members must demonstrate that they have attained specific standards of competency to assure the public that they have met the educational, ethical and upgrading standards of the certifying body to which they are accountable.

INTEGRATIVE DOCTORS MEDICAL ACCREDITATION (IDMA) under IIPA, Implements (enforced) the following Rules and Clarification

IDMA -IIPA Should not be Equated with the Philippine PRC Physician Licensure Examination

For Licensed Physicians or any Government Regulatory agency of the Country of Clinical Practice.
  • IDMA-IIPA is an Accreditation Board for Integrative Naturopathic Doctors who graduated from IBMS IMSIM or from Qualified Eligible Postgraduate Naturopathic School Accepted by IIPA.
  • IDMA-IIPA is not an educational Institution (That Requires CHED), it is an simply an Accreditation Board for our members who are Integrative Naturopathic Doctors engaged in the Naturopathic vocation Subject to Professional Regulation by his/her Government.
  • The Integrative Naturopathic Board Examination (INBEX) Administered by IDMA-IIPA is an Standardized Test developed by IIPA which served to assess the Comprehensive Knowledge, skills and attitude of our Integrative Naturopathic graduates eligible for Board Certification under IDMA-IIPA.
  • Only Those Who Passed INBEX and Those who meet the criteria and standards of IDMA-IIPA shall be certified by the Board.
  • IDMA-IIPA Board Certification for Integrative Naturopathic Doctors/physicians is not an Authority
For IDMA-IIPA Certified Members to use the designated title when laws and professional regulation in a country has clearly prohibited or forbidden it. Every Board-Certified members must study and know the professional regulation of the country of clinical practice.
  • Every Certified member Should be aware of legal restrictions and in general : is not to clinically diagnose, prescribe RX EDD drugs or treat disease in a way compatible to licensed MD,DO ,NMD who are given the authority in a particular State or Country of clinical practice. Every Naturopathic Doctor must be fully knowledgeable of ethics and legal issues of Integrative Naturopathic practice.
  • Upon signing, applicant agrees to adhere to IDMA-IIPA terms of agreement/ rules and policies as broadly emphasized/explained in this Application.
  • It is the obligation of all Integrative Naturopathic Doctors to obtain his/her own State/Country license when there is a Regulation in the state where he/she intends to practice. IDMA-IIPA doesn’t hold any legal responsibility for participants failed to acquire licensing requirements.
I hereby pledge that if accepted as a Board Certified Integrative Naturopathic Doctor, I will abide all the terms and conditions, and that I will meet my obligation faithfully.
